Tinnitus is experienced by someone who can hear abnormal sound in their ear. The noise heard may come and go. But sometimes there is a continuous ringing in the ear and the sound is like a low roar or a high pitched ring. The ringing of ear can be heard in one ear or both ears.
A person with Meniere’s disease is known to have tinnitus. However, one of the leading cause of tinnitus is the damage of the inner ear resulted to exposure of loud noises such as gun fire or occupational noise in which if it can be avoided then this can be the most important factor to prevent tinnitus. There are some other causes of tinnitus though like the old age, impacted ear wax (rare), and a number of ear infections.
If a person is experiencing the continuous disturbing abnormal ringing in the ear, he may start to experience a disturbance in sleep. Because of the lack of sleep he may manifest fatigue, exhaustion, deterioration in ability to work, and irritability. These symptoms may cause the disturbance of the life of the entire family of the victim. He may have the feeling of anxiety and depression and may start to avoid social life. He may have the inability to find pleasure and become sensitive to noises. The worst effects could be the experience of palpitations, hypertension, or even hearing loss.
Usually, the person who has tinnitus is common to experience tinnitus dizziness, and this manifestation should be taken for granted. If dizziness occurs regularly and even severely it may connote a serious problem. This condition may due to sinusitis or hypertension and these manifestations cannot be taken for granted. It is a must to see and consult your doctor to detect for any serious problem like hypertension. Sometimes the person may experience disequilibrium and it must be kept in mind that your inner ear is irresponsible for helping to maintain equilibrium.
Apart from tinnitus, vertigo and dizziness can be a sign of possible conditions. There may be a serious problem present, which may be something that can be easily fixed, or may be much harder to live with. However, if the tinnitus dizziness experienced is frequent and intense, it is very necessary to visit and consult the physician. The feeling of dizziness may be a part of tinnitus, but it may also be something much serious and ignoring it may developed into much more serious warning signal or could be something fatal.
